SANTIAGO, CL / ACCESS Newswire / May 8, 2026 / Apiux officially announced the acquisition of BackSpace, a Chilean technology consulting firm specialized in advanced analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence (AI), in a transaction that represents a new step in its expansion plan through 2027.
With this acquisition, the company adds a firm with more than 15 years of experience, a specialized team with expertise in platforms such as Databricks, Tableau, and Appian, and new capabilities to strengthen its offering in data, automation, and the development of high-impact technology solutions. The transaction also represents Apiux's second acquisition under its "3x3" plan, a strategy through which the company seeks to triple and diversify its revenues over the next 18 months.

In addition to reinforcing Apiux's technology offering, BackSpace brings a portfolio of more than 120 clients in Chile, Peru, and Colombia, across sectors such as mining, financial services, telecommunications, insurance, and retail. Through this integration, the company expects to expand these capabilities into other markets where it already has a presence, including the United States and Spain.

As part of this new stage, the BackSpace brand will be maintained and there will be no staff restructuring. Likewise, Maurizio Pancorvo, founder of the consulting firm, will join Apiux's board of directors, with the objective of supporting the integration process and contributing his experience to the company's next phase of development.
