Deployment of Amdocs Charging and Amdocs Catalog on Microsoft Azure, together with Amdocs Billing, has simplified operations, improved performance, enables future agentic expansion and supported the successful migration of Bob customers to A1's main brand

JERSEY CITY, NJ / ACCESS Newswire / August 5, 2026 / Amdocs (NASDAQ:DOX), a leading provider of software and services for communications and media companies, today announced that A1 Austria has successfully completed the deployment of Amdocs Charging, Billing, and Catalog following a multi-year transformation to modernize its monetization environment.

As part of this transformation, A1 Austria has modernized its billing, charging and catalog platform with Amdocs Charging and Amdocs Catalog - deployed on Microsoft Azure - alongside Amdocs Billing, as part of its simplification and cloudification program. The new platform provides a modern, scalable foundation for monetization, delivering higher performance, lower operating costs and a simplified technology landscape.

A1 Austria will benefit from the evolving agentic capabilities of Amdocs Charging, which automate key operational processes and simplify business authoring. This will help reduce complexity, improve efficiency, accelerate service innovation, and lower total cost of ownership over time.

The transformation has also successfully supported the migration of Bob - a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) established by A1 Austria - customers onto the A1 main brand, helping streamline operations while maintaining service continuity throughout the transition.

"Modernizing our billing and charging environment is an important step in simplifying our operations and creating a more efficient technology foundation," said Boris Gotovac, IT Director at A1 Austria. "By deploying Amdocs Charging, we are significantly improving system performance while reducing operational costs, enabling us to better support our business today and into the future."

"Helping service providers modernize mission-critical monetization platforms is central to what Amdocs delivers, combining proven operational expertise with cloud-native innovation," said Anthony Goonetilleke, Group President of Technology and Head of Strategy at Amdocs. "We're proud to support A1 Austria on the successful completion of its monetization platform modernization with Amdocs Charging, Billing, and Catalog. Together, we're building a cloud-native foundation that delivers the performance, scalability and agility needed to support today's business while preparing for tomorrow's opportunities."
