BERLIN, DE / ACCESS Newswire / September 5, 2026 / AIRSEEKERS today unveiled ARANIX, its next-generation flagship robotic mower, at IFA 2026. ARANIX is designed for sloped, uneven and complex lawns where conventional robotic mowers may lose traction, become trapped or leave difficult areas unfinished.
By combining independently controlled four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering with four-wheel independent suspension, the ARANIX 4WD + 4WS platform gives the mower greater freedom of movement across challenging lawn environments. Each wheel can drive and steer independently, enabling omnidirectional movement, zero-radius turning and crab-style lateral movement. This architecture allows ARANIX to move precisely through narrow passages, irregular boundaries and confined lawn areas with fewer repositioning movements. Unlike conventional differential-steering robotic mowers, ARANIX can change direction without dragging its wheels across the ground, helping reduce turf scuffing, grass flattening and unnecessary lawn disturbance.
Engineered for demanding terrain, ARANIX can operate on slopes of up to 85% (40°) and cross vertical obstacles of up to 70 mm. On slopes, ARANIX can maintain straight-line travel, perform on-the-spot turns and independently adjust wheel speed and steering angle to regain traction and maneuver out of difficult situations.
At the center of its mowing system is FlowCut™ 2.0, an integrated cutting and mulching platform featuring dual cutting discs and 18 blades across a 400 mm cutting width. Aerodynamic airflow lifts grass before cutting and continuously recirculates clippings for finer mulching, helping reduce clipping buildup inside the cutting deck and grass clumping on the lawn. The result is a cleaner, more even cut, while finely processed clippings are redistributed back into the turf in a single mowing pass.
In its standard configuration, ARANIX can mow within 3 cm of the lawn edge. With the optional edge-cutting module, cutting coverage extends all the way to the boundary, enabling 0 cm edge cutting and minimizing the need for manual trimming.
ARANIX combines 360° LiDAR, Vision SLAM and nRTK positioning, rather than relying on a single signal source. This multi-sensor approach delivers positioning accuracy of up to ±5 cm and enables automatic mapping and mowing of lawns up to 2,000 m² without an installed RTK antenna or continuous Wi-Fi, 4G or RTK coverage, making setup simpler and autonomous mowing more reliable.
Alongside ARANIX, AIRSEEKERS also unveiled WAVON, its new smart irrigation system designed for the diverse needs of modern outdoor spaces. Featuring a digitally controlled sprinkler with five distinct watering patterns, WAVON delivers tailored watering for lawns, flower beds, shrubs and other planting areas, while customized watering zones and no-go areas help reduce missed spots and overspray onto patios, pathways and other non-target surfaces. Together, ARANIX and WAVON expand the AIRSEEKERS ecosystem beyond autonomous mowing toward more intelligent, efficient and connected outdoor care.
Visitors can see live ARANIX demonstrations at AIRSEEKERS' Booth 119, Hall 11.1, Messe Berlin. WAVON and its five sprinkler heads will also be on display.
