One of Signal Integrity's Most Widely Cited Authors and Educators will Advise Quilter's Physics and Engineering Teams and Publish Original Technical Content on the Quilter Platform

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESS Newswire / September 9, 2026 / Quilter, the physics-driven AI that automates printed circuit board (PCB) layout, has named Dr. Eric Bogatin as its first Technical Fellow. Bogatin is a professor in the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering (ECEE) at the University of Colorado Boulder, former technical editor of Signal Integrity Journal, and the author of 18 technical books, including Signal and Power Integrity: Simplified, widely regarded as the standard reference text for practicing engineers.

In his role, Bogatin will advise Quilter's physics and engineering teams, provide product and roadmap feedback, and author original technical content on Quilter's platform.

Bogatin's career spans more than four decades at the intersection of electromagnetic physics and electronics design. He earned his B.S. in physics from MIT and his M.S. and Ph.D. in physics from The University of Arizona, then held senior engineering and management positions at Bell Labs, Raychem, Sun Microsystems, Ansoft, and Interconnect Devices. In 2011, Teledyne LeCroy acquired the company he founded with his wife, Susan. In 2012, he joined the ECEE faculty of the University of Colorado Boulder, where he teaches the capstone senior design lab and graduate courses on signal integrity. He has trained thousands of engineers through university courses, intensive short courses, and industry webinars. He also serves as a Fellow with Teledyne LeCroy, where he leads the Signal Integrity Academy.
