Los Angeles, CA - November 24, 2025 - Executive Coach Saran Traore, MBA, MSM, CEC, is introducing a new coaching playbook designed to help healthcare leaders confront and overcome Imposter Syndrome or what she calls “limiting beliefs” – the quiet narratives that can make leaders question themselves at the very moment their expertise is most needed and even celebrated.

In a sector defined by rigorous training and highly regulated standards, moments of self-doubt still find their way into the minds of even the most capable professionals. Traore, who brings more than 12 years of experience in healthcare, spanning pharmaceutical, biotech, and health system leadership – including work with Top 20 Pharma and Biotech companies – has experienced these challenges firsthand. Throughout her career, she has observed how internal narratives can either hold leaders back or propel them forward.
“I take my corporate experiences into my coaching because that has given me the practice ground on how I have taken control of my internal narratives,” Traore shared on the podcast Intruder Imposter Actor – Who Am I. “That’s why emotional intelligence behaviors have become so central to my work and the topic today of Imposter syndrome – or, as I prefer to call it, ‘limiting beliefs.’”
From Corporate Experience to Coaching Practice
Her career trajectory was both accelerated and pioneering. “I found myself being the first 30-year-old woman of color in an organization of over 40 field-facing teams,” she said. “Within two years, I was in rooms with decision makers, contributing to projects that inspired me. But I would also think – have I missed a step? Has this gone too far or too fast without building the skill sets? What if they think that I’m not ready?”
Through self-reflection and counsel, she learned to recognize these doubts for what they were: internal narratives influenced by both personal perspective and external feedback. This realization was a key inspiration for the creation of Elev8 Leadership Solutions, her executive coaching practice dedicated to helping professionals feel less “stuck” and lead with more confidence through emotional intelligence behaviors.
Emotional Intelligence as a Foundation
For Traore, emotional intelligence (EI) is the foundation of effective leadership. “EI isn’t always familiar to professionals,” she explained, “but it’s critical. When you shift your story from ‘I’m not ready’ to ‘I am capable,’ you not only strengthen yourself – you strengthen your ability to lead others.”
On the podcast, she described the five common patterns of imposter syndrome – the Perfectionist, Expert, Soloist, Natural Genius, and Super Person – and explained how they frequently appear in high-performance healthcare environments.
To address them, she offered a simple playbook:
-
Name the pattern.
-
Gather evidence of success.
-
Practice one micro-win.
“These small steps,” she said, “build momentum and gradually shift the narrative. Leaders begin to lead from a space of capability instead of fear.”
Technical expertise matters,” she emphasized, “but the leaders who thrive are those who learn to navigate challenges with confidence and emotional intelligence.”
Elevating Leaders Beyond Limited Beliefs
Traore’s work blends her corporate background with her expertise as a certified executive coach. With advanced degrees in management, communication, and healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing, she combines academic knowledge with lived experience to help leaders strengthen their resilience, reframe self-doubt, and unlock their full potential.
