Winterizing is a standard seasonal service for travel trailers, fifth wheels, motorhomes and other recreational vehicles that remain unused or stored during colder months. The process addresses water systems and other components that can be affected by freezing temperatures. Leo's Vacation Center performs this work in its service and preparation area, which the dealership describes as a 20,000 square foot facility. Technicians also handle plumbing service, LP systems, electrical repairs, brakes, hitch work, and Maryland State RV inspections for trailers as part of broader maintenance activity.

Leo's Vacation Center reports that it has been operated by the same family for more than 54 years and cites more than 180 years of combined RV service experience among its technicians. The company identifies itself as the number one motorhome dealer in Maryland for 12 years and among the top 50 RV dealers in the United States. It also states that it maintains one of the largest parts inventories in the region, which supports both seasonal winterizing and other repairs. As temperatures begin to change, the dealership notes that demand for winterizing typically rises once regular camping weekends become less frequent.
