Rural goods retailer Tractor Supply (NASDAQ:TSCO) will be reporting results this Thursday morning. Here’s what to look for.

Tractor Supply beat analysts’ revenue expectations by 0.9% last quarter, reporting revenues of $4.44 billion, up 4.5% year on year. It was a satisfactory quarter for the company, with a narrow beat of analysts’ revenue estimates.

This quarter, analysts are expecting Tractor Supply’s revenue to grow 7.1% year on year to $3.71 billion, improving from the 1.6% increase it recorded in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings are expected to come in at $0.48 per share.

Analysts covering the company have generally reconfirmed their estimates over the last 30 days, suggesting they anticipate the business to stay the course heading into earnings. Tractor Supply has missed Wall Street’s revenue estimates six times over the last two years.

Looking at Tractor Supply’s peers in the consumer retail segment, some have already reported their Q3 results, giving us a hint as to what we can expect. Genuine Parts delivered year-on-year revenue growth of 4.9%, beating analysts’ expectations by 2.2%, and Costco reported revenues up 8.1%, in line with consensus estimates.
