Today, virtual neurology clinic Neura Health announced the introduction of its comprehensive, research-based solution for employers to support employees experiencing sleep disorders. The sleep-specific offering expands Neura’s suite of solutions for neurological conditions, adding to its proven solution for headache and migraine care.

Today, virtual neurology clinic Neura Health announced the results of peer-reviewed research which demonstrates the value of its telehealth solution in treating headache disorders. The study is the first of its kind for the neurology disease category, which is a top 5 spend category for health plans and self-insured employers. The research, published in the Journal of Clinical Medicine, included a review of 186 Neura Health patients with a variety of headache disorders between March 2022 and March 2023. Study participants were granted access to the full breadth of Neura’s solution, including access to licensed neurologists via telehealth, individualized care plans, an integrated symptom diary and twice-monthly coaching sessions with National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coaches.

Today, virtual neurology clinic Neura Health announced it has raised $8 million in seed funding in a round led by Koch Disruptive Technologies (Oshi Health, Neuralight) and Norwest Venture Partners (Calm, Talkspace, Omada Health). Pre-seed financiers Pear VC (Doordash, Gusto) and Next Play Ventures (Ginger, Headspace) also participated in the round, as did new investors Correlation Ventures and Plug and Play Ventures. The funding will allow Neura to expand its go-to-market approach, moving beyond the consumer market to bring the company’s neurology care offering to the enterprise sector, with an initial focus on employers and health plans.
