The OpenMP ARB Launches Python Subcommittee, Welcomes Anaconda as Newest Member
Today the OpenMP® Architecture Review Board (ARB) announces the formation of an OpenMP Python Language Subcommittee to add Python support to version 7.0 of the OpenMP API specification. At the same time, Anaconda, a key contributor to Python's infrastructure and tooling ecosystem, has joined the OpenMP ARB and will play an important role in the Python integration effort.
OpenMP ARB Releases Public Comment Draft of OpenMP 6.0
The OpenMP® Architecture Review Board (ARB) has released Technical Report 13, the final public comment draft of version 6.0 of the OpenMP API. Version 6.0 of the OpenMP API will be released in November 2024. Implementers and users are encouraged to provide public comment on the proposed API.
