Splight, the grid infrastructure technology company, today announced that its Dynamic Congestion Manager (DCM) is live on Chile’s National Electric System (SEN), where it powers the country’s first AI-based automatic transfer control scheme. The deployment has increased usable transmission capacity by 60 percent on the Mulchén–Santa Clara and Santa Clara–Charrúa 2x220 kV corridors spanning the Biobío and La Araucanía regions, achieving this additional capacity without the need for any additional transmission infrastructure.
