The Boards of Trustees of certain Nuveen closed-end funds announced today that Glass Lewis, a leading independent proxy advisory firm, recommended that shareholders vote on the WHITE proxy cards FOR all of the Board Nominees of Nuveen Real Asset Income and Growth Fund (NYSEJRI), Nuveen Core Plus Impact Fund NYSE: NPCTNYSENPCT)(NYSE: NMAINYSENMAI and Nuveen Variable Rate Preferred & Income Fund (NYSE: NPFDNYSE) (the “Funds”) in connection with the Funds’ annual meetings, scheduled to be held on May 15, 2024.
Nuveen announces today the upcoming retirement of Jay L. Rosenberg, Head of Public Real Assets and portfolio manager for Nuveen Real Asset Income and Growth Fund (NYSEJRI). Mr. Rosenberg will remain a portfolio manager on JRI until March 31, 2024. There will be no impact on the investment approach, investment strategy, or any of the fund’s investment objectives or policies.
